The inspiration behind this layout is, of course, the movie itself. Released July 9th, 2003, (which, at this time, you may notice, was yesterday) I've seen it three times in total, and plan to see it more. Jack Spar--erm, Captain Jack Sparrow--is an inspiration himself, truthfully; his wit and utter ingenious sense of humour (whether meaning to or not) stole that entire movie, as a swaggering pirate like himself should. This, as one might note, is the first layout I've done that did not feature a character from animation, but a photograph, more or less. Pirates of the Caribbean--the movie, book, and ride--are all wholly recommended from me to you, from one swashbuckling fan to another.
